Our History
For over 20 years the Cornerstone Community based at Pera Bore has fostered and developed Christian education in this area. In 2005, Cornerstone withdrew from the Bourke district and, wishing to see distinctive Christian education continue, negotiated with Pacific Hills Christian School in Sydney to take over the operation of the school. This was effected during 2006 and Pera Bore Christian School Ltd became the company operating the school.
The school has its own School Council, of 7 directors, most of whom are local. It is responsible for setting the vision and policies for the school and monitoring these on behalf of the families who form the school community. The day to day operation of the school is the responsibility of the Head Teacher.
